On Thursday, August 4th, 2022, Irmgarde Brown joins the Harford Writers’ Group to share her insights on writing.
Irmgarde Brown is a retired librarian/manager, a long-time blogger, a photographer, a playwright and director, an active volunteer in the Havre de Grace arts community, a friend to the Village of Hope, Zambia, a student in the Living School for Action and Contemplation, and a newly branded Episcopalian after forty years in the non-denominational church. She is a widow, the mother of three adoptees from Eastern Europe (now grown), and a grandmother of two (soon three). She is also the co-author of an upcoming memoir, “Evidence Now Seen: How God used one couple to touch the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children in Zambia.” Her most recent project is the script for the “Havre de Grace Mosaic Project: Voices from the Past 1900-1925,” an immersive experience at the Cultural Center for the Arts, July 29-31 and Aug 5-7.
